International Transgender Day of Visibility – March 31st, 2024

Today does happen to be Easter Sunday; however, it also is International Transgender Day of Visibility!  This day is aimed at celebrating and honoring transgendered persons, especially since such people often are forced to endure severe levels of discrimination and marginalization.

Various events are planned around the world in order to honor transgendered persons today.  These events include citywide picnics, speaker engagements, and marches.  There is also a rally scheduled for today at the National Mall in Washington D.C. in the United States of America.

The transgender flag colors of pink, white, and blue are being displayed in a variety of ways all over the world today, with even major buildings being illuminated in these colors.

One of the major goals of this day is to spread awareness of the truths of transgenderism so that people can know more about who transgendered people really are.  This knowledge often helps people to relate better to such marginalized groups and consequently reduces associated acts of discrimination.

Part of this goal to spread awareness is to combat the vicious, unethical, and unchristian attacks on transgendered persons, especially in the United States of America where numerous states have recently begun to attack transgendered persons via legislation aimed at removed their constitutional rights.

Of course, conservatives in the United States of America are actively expressing their anger towards President Biden for his recognition of the Internation Transgender Day of Visibility by falsely and inappropriately claiming that it is “blasphemous” to be observed in conjunction with Easter Sunday of 2024.  These conservatives need to spend a little more time reading their Bibles instead of defiling Christianity by preaching hate.

I’ll leave you with this final point:  Christ Jesus never once said anything about being LGBTQIA+ as being a sin of any sort.

Be loving!  Merry Easter and Merry International Transgender Day of Visibility!
